Who is this course for?

Students interested in how individuals are affected by laws in our society and the legal processes which operate in Australia.

No background knowledge is assumed although students need good reading, writing and research skills.

This course is excellent preparation for Stage 2 Legal Studies.

What will I learn?

You will learn about:

• The structure and roles of parliament, the government and the courts in the legal system
• How laws are made to resolve legal disputes
