Who is this course for?

This art elective is designed for students who want to focus on digitally created images using Photoshop as the central program for practical exercises and resolved digital artworks.

Please note: A minimum of 8 GB RAM on student laptop/computer is required to download Adobe Photoshop.

What will I learn?

Learn how to make eye-catching artworks with Photoshop and other less traditional materials. Explore Photoshop and other digital media to create ‘art without paint’.
Have fun exploring filters and digital brushes to create artworks inspired by other artists and art movements throughout time.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be based on the Australian Curriculum, Visual Arts achievement standard.

Students will be assessed through:

  • Weekly skills tasks
  • Three major artworks
